Kosovo Council for the Cultural Heritage is committed to a sustainable, independent and innovative institution in the assessment of cultural heritage assets for permanent protection, independent and professional assessment of projects, establishment of independent commissions for assessment of cultural heritage in cases of expropriations, purchase and sales and other financial compensation, setting the annual financial priorities for cultural heritage, as well as, other tasks determined by the legislation in force in the Republic of Kosovo.

Cultural heritage will have independent and professional treatment in accordance with local legislation and international conventions.
